| | We were fortunate to welcome Denise to our headquarters today accompanied by her husband Mark. She has been blind all her life and since co-winning the English National Opera/Channel 4 competition ‘Operatunity' in 2002 Denise has had a full diary of concerts, recordings and other professional engagements. She had appeared at Cheltenham Town Hall the previous evening with her co-winner, Jane Gilchrist. | It is no exaggeration that Denise thoroughly enjoyed her visit and particularly, all the goodies in the display and demonstration room. This is likely to make her poorer as she particularly took to one of the screen readers on display. She said that Gloucestershire was most fortunate to have such a facility and be able to experience the various equipment before buying. Her comprehensive website can be entered by clicking here. | |
